Nobody works the next morning.
Which changes the whole night.

🙋 Coming alone? So is most of the room.

We do not drop you into a room full of strangers and wish you luck. There are games that do the introducing for you, and a chill-out corner where you can just sit and talk.

Public noticeForm B

Tuesday October 27 is a day off.
Which makes the night before the easiest one of the year to go out on.

Most parties in Israel die at half past midnight, because there is work in the morning. Here that brake simply is not there. No clock, no "I have to head off", and nobody checking their phone at two to work out how many hours of sleep are left.

That matters more than it sounds. For most people the good conversation starts about an hour after they walk in, which is exactly the point where they normally start calculating when to leave. Here there is no calculation, so the conversations just keep going.

And yes, this is also the night people answer "yes" instead of "maybe". It would be a shame to spend it on a barbecue with the family.

October birthdaysForm C
Notice to the celebrating

Born in October?
The celebration is on us.

A birthday is the one thing everyone agrees you are allowed to celebrate loudly. So instead of hunting for a venue, agreeing a date and chasing people on WhatsApp, take our garden.

🎂

We celebrate you

Your name on the entry permit at the door, a cake at a time we agree, and the whole garden singing. You organise nothing.

🎟️

You get in free

A birthday host does not pay for their own ticket. Full stop. Whether two friends turn up or thirty.

💸

20 ILS per friend

Every friend who buys through your personal link is 20 ILS to you. Paid by Bit after the party, with no cap.

What that actually looks like

600
30 friends came

Plus your own entry, which you were never going to pay for anyway. A birthday that pays you back instead of costing you.

Six hosts per night, so everyone actually gets their moment

The small print, because money should be boring: the personal link is a separate payment product in your name, so a friend who got the link forwarded still counts for you. 20 ILS per ticket bought through it, whatever price step it was bought at. Paid by Bit within 48 hours of the party ending. The birthday has to fall in October 2026, and we ask for ID at the door regardless, because 18+.

The big one

  • Tomorrow is a day off, so nobody watches the clock.
  • Ends when it ends. In practice around three.
  • One ticket, one night, one garden.

Everything is set up already.
You just come and meet people.

🍹

The bar

Included in the ticket. No wallet in your hand, no working out who owes whom.

🛋️

The chill-out corner

Away from the speaker, lit low. This is where the conversations you remember happen.

🏓

The games area

Beer pong and a table that creates a queue. The queue is the introduction.

🌿

The lawn

Lights overhead, room to stand in groups of three or four. That is the size people actually talk in.

There is no DJ.
And the music is genuinely good.

A DJ turns a garden into an audience: everyone faces one direction and stops talking. Here there is a speaker, a shared playlist anyone can add a song to, and a volume you can hold a conversation over. Your song goes in. Even the embarrassing one.

Order of businessForm F

The games have the first conversation for you.

📮

The request box

A wooden box at the door. Everyone drops in a note with a question or a dare. At midnight we pull five out and the garden decides who does them.

🏓

Beer pong

One table, open queue. The easiest way in the world to join a group without introducing yourself.

⏱️

The opening circle

21:00 sharp, two minutes, everyone says their name and one sentence. After that there is nobody in the garden who is "someone you do not know".

House rulesForm G

Every good house has rules.
Ours are short.

  1. "No" is a complete answer. It does not need explaining and it is not asked twice. This is the one rule we genuinely enforce, and anyone who does not accept it leaves.
  2. Ask before you photograph. People come here to be people, not content.
  3. Talk to whoever is standing alone. If you spot someone in a corner, you are the welcoming committee. That is the whole job.
  4. 18+ and ID at the door. Even if you look older, even if you came with someone we know.
  5. Drink sensibly. The bar being included does not mean it has to be finished. Anyone overdoing it gets water and a chair.
  6. Neighbours. After midnight the outdoor music comes down. This garden exists because the neighbours agree that it does.

Shay & Avigail

Shay Peleg Avigail

We started this in a garden in Hod HaSharon after seeing how it works in the States: a party you walk into alone and walk out of with people. This is the seventh edition.

We stand at the door at the start, introduce people by hand, and make sure nobody is left standing alone for the first fifteen minutes. That is the entire job.

QuestionsForm J
I do not speak Hebrew. Will that be a problem?
No. A good half of the garden switches to English for part of the night, and every edition has a group of people who moved here recently. Tell us on WhatsApp and we will introduce you to the right people at the door rather than leaving you to find them.
I am coming alone and I do not know anyone. Is that strange?
It is the majority. We stand at the door and introduce people by hand, and the games do the rest. The first fifteen minutes are the hard part, and that is exactly what we are there for.
My birthday is in October. What exactly do I get?
Free entry, a cake at a time we agree, your name on the entry permit at the door, and 20 ILS for every friend who buys a ticket through your personal link. Paid by Bit within 48 hours of the party ending.
Is the bar really included?
Yes. Beer, wine and basic cocktails are included in the ticket price. You will not need your wallet all night.
Where exactly is it?
A private garden in Hod HaSharon, about twenty minutes from Tel Aviv. The exact address goes out on WhatsApp after you register, because it is somebody's home.
Can I cancel?
No refunds beyond what the law requires. Under Israel's Consumer Protection Law you can cancel within 14 days of purchase and no later than 2 business days before the event, minus the legal cancellation fee (5% or 100 ILS, whichever is lower). After that there is no refund, but you can pass the ticket to someone else, just tell us who.
Doors open at 20:30.

One night, one garden in Hod HaSharon, and nobody who has to be up in the morning. That is the whole offer.
